Week 5 - More Wild Clay
This week I…
….dug clay from the river behind the IUS ampitheater. I love the color, and it is surprisingly plastic. It’s full of tiny orange stones that I’m intrigued by.
…made some rocks with the unprocessed Kentuckiana wild clays.
...learned about fusion buttons and made some of my own. I’m testing out wood, soda, and bone ash, silicon carbide, and arroyo slip clay + the unsifted IUS creek clay. Can’t wait to see all the results!
…and started some new medium sized forms.
